The staff were pleasant and very good. The rooms were wonderful and beautiful, equipped with a kitchenette and a queen bed. I appreciated having a microwave, coffee/tea making machines, and a fridge. The setting was favorable, near the Oregon Coast and a lovely garden. It was convenient to explore Kirtsis Park located just a short stroll away from the hotel.

My stay at Captain Cook Inn was enjoyable. The location was great, with plenty of nearby shopping and dining options. I particularly liked that the inn was very dog friendly, as I was able to bring my furry friend along. The grassy back garden area was a nice addition for my dog to stretch its legs. The price was fair, and it was interesting to stay in an older property that had been well maintained.
Although my room was quiet, the light from outside seeped in through the window, which affected my sleep. I didn't realize until the morning that the curtains actually closed, so that would have helped.
